Politix is looking at making Politics more interesting, accessible and simplified for youth in Winnipeg. Non-youths are more than welcome to attend as well.
We look at a variety of issues every Wednesday. We have coffee houses three times a month and are currently having brainstorms (bs) once a month. We have talked about Northern Food Security, Occupy movements, youth engagement in Politics, Parties within Canada, Civic, Provincial and Federal issues and have had generic open discussions.
We are a non-partisan group that are meeting to communicate, build relationships, interact and inform. We offer a safe place to ask questions to things you don't know about and to talk about issues you are knowledgeable about.
Our next meetup is going to be on Wednesday July 25 at 6 pm at Melanie Wight's Constituency Office to ask questions of as a member of our Manitoba Government.

We are a community volunteer group that is looking to build friendships, community ties, improve safety and relationships, beautify our neighbourhood and promote positive events. Our meetings are the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7 PM in Win Gardner Place - 363 McGregor Street.
